The 3" hand-polished blade has been constructed out of high-quality XHP steel and has been heat treated to a Rockwell Hardness 60, creating a blade that has incredible durability with excellent edge retention. Adding to both the beauty and durability of this knife are titanium liners, which also aid in a lightweight knife, perfect for carry. Adding strength to the pivot, the bolsters have been made from zirconium, a metal that is more scratch resistant than titanium and offers exceptional corrosion resistance. The zirconium tip-up clip sees that this knife is always ready for action. Each component of this knife is handmade by Jason for only the highest quality. He later went on to serve as a member of the Inspector General's office. Jason began making his first custom knife in 2001. The Clark Custom Knife legacy and style was then born. This knife features a Bifrost Damasteel Damascus blade that measures 3.25”, giving it both a gorgeous pattern and incredible cutting ability. The American built, titanium housing features mammoth tusk ivory panel inserts for a unique look while the button lock has been inlaid with mother of pearl for a subtle dash of class. To set this knife apart from others, the Nighthawk Custom logo has been laser engraved into the handle. When in the closed position, this knife comes in at 4.25" for the perfect carry size. *Mammoth fossils are an ancient natural material, so patterns and colors vary on each knife. No two are the same! With an overall length of 11” and a cutting surface of 6”, this knife is ready for battle. The tan/black 2x2 layered G10 handles give you a sure grip on the knife in all situations. The blade has been forged from CPM 154 steel and is finished with a glass bead blast. Each finely crafted blade comes in at 58-59 Rockwell hardness. Stainless Torx #20 screws are used in the handle that also features Nighthawk Custom medallions.
